An improperly titled paper may be lost and never reach its intended audience.

Remember that, for indexing services, literature-retrieval systems and search engines, your title should contain key words: words that highlight the important content of the paper in terms that are understandable and retrievable.

The title of your document defines the document's contents in as few words as possible. An effective title 'sells' the document to your reader immediately.

The title of a scientific paper is traditionally used to deliver an accurate summary of the paper's contents, rather than its message. However, just stating the content without the message is unhelpful to the reader.
