REFERENCES
The purpose of the references section is to provide readers with precise details of the literature you have cited so they
are able to find these papers with ease. The purpose is not to demonstrate either how erudite you are or to show how much
you have read.
The literature cited is as much a part of the evidence as anything else that you include in the paper. It is part of the evidence
that an independent competent scientist who specialises in your field will use to judge the reproducibility of your findings.
You should cite in your paper only references to the most important publications. You should not aim to be comprehensive.
