Have you kept an exact copy of the manuscript for yourself? Papers can get lost in the post. You will need a copy to refer to when you receive comments from referees. Do not staple the manuscript - use paper clips. The editor may wish to make more copies. You may be required to send the manuscript on a disk as well.
