Organising your ideas

We can think of organising information as a process in three steps:

  • creating a structure of ideas;
  • collecting the evidence that will support those ideas;
  • writing an outline that will show the key ideas and their relationships.

The beauty of this process is that the structure you create to display your ideas is always the same. And that structure is a pyramid.

We'll explain what we mean by a pyramid shortly.
