Titles

The title of your document defines the document's contents in as few words as possible. An effective title 'sells' the document to your reader immediately.

The form of the title will depend on the type of document you are producing. A poster, an article, a leaflet, a business document and a scientific paper will each have a title: its style will be different in each case.

Your title will be read by far more people than the rest of your document. Hundreds - maybe thousands - of people may see your document's title without reading or even seeing the document itself.
